Javier Martinez & Associates

Javier Alvarez Martinez is our preferred Attorney at Law licensed in the state of Texas and Florida. He was born in Austin, Texas, and grew up in the Central and South Texas regions. Javier was inspired to become a lawyer at a young age while employed by the local law firm Hole and Alvarez L.L.P. Javier attended the University of Texas at San Antonio obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies. During his time in college, Javier participated in various endeavors, including volunteering for the Free Speech Coalition at the Esperanza Peace and Justice Center in San Antonio, Texas. He also volunteered for various political fundraisers with the UTSA division of the College Republicans. He further continued his legal experience in San Antonio, by working for the local law firm Segrato, Reynolds, and Guerra.

Javier then attended Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida. While in law school, Javier participated in the school’s Asylum Clinic under the direction of Jason Eyster. Javier was able to help individuals claiming asylum, as well juveniles who qualified for residency status under the little known Special Immigrant

Juvenile Status. Javier also interned for the Office of the Assistant Chief Counsel of Customs and Border Protection, Department of Homeland Security in Laredo, Texas, under the direction of Frank Mckninnis. During his internship, Javier was able to analyze and issue legal opinions and address administrative issues for sectors such as Border Patrol and Customs and Border Protection.

After attaining a License to Practice Law in the State of Florida, Javier decided to pursue a license to practice in the State of Texas. After returning to Austin, Texas, Javier began working for One West Bank as a foreclosure specialist. During his employment, Javier researched and attained knowledge of the various foreclosure procedures across the nation, dealing with regulatory compliance and foreclosure laws.

Thereafter, Javier became a solo practitioner focusing on immigration and administrative matters. While maintaining a solo practice, Javier was also employed by Deloitte, a Fortune 500 consulting firm. Javier was an e-discovery contract attorney, and dealt with issues such as confidentiality, and responsiveness in documents surrounding litigation for major corporations. Javier also handled regulatory compliance with federal issues.

Javier now joins ATW as their preferred Attorney. He hopes to help the company by providing legal advice on all aspects of the company including foreclosure, litigation, and administrative matters, as a well as keeping up-to-date with new laws that will affect the company. Javier hopes to grow with the company as they move into new markets, while being able to help investors and clientele.
